What Are OUs in Domain?

An organizational unit (OU) is a container an object in the domain; you can use it to Consolidation of users, groups, computers, and other things. There are two reasons to create Organizational unit:
 
§ Configuration objects contained within OU. You can assign GPO in the OU and these settings are applied to all objects in the OU. GPO is an administrator creates a policy Manage and configures computers and users account. The most common way to deploy these policies is linked to the OU.
 
§ Delegate administrative control Objects in the OU. You can assign A rights management OU, therefore delegated control of AD user OU or group within DS except administrator.
 
You can use OU to represent your internal organizational hierarchy, logical structure. E.g., you can create a sector, geographic area within the organization on behalf of OU A combination of your organization, or both sector and geographic region within. You can use it Configuration and use of user management, group and computer accounts on the basis of OU Organizational model.
